I had done my share of fast living being one of the top notched men in the company. But a car accident that nearly killed me became my turning point. I saw my life and found what a mess I had done with it. But this realization only brought me into deep depression until a friend who I haven’t seen in years came to visit. I don’t know if it was fate or just coincidence but he invited me and some other old friends to come for a retreat in this far and beautiful country. Just when I was in doubt; just when I was depressed and in comes an old friend from another life, offering me to attend a costa rica yoga retreat. From the first moment my friend mentioned it to me; I know then that it is what I need. A yoga retreat is a good point to start to reflect and to have it in the most magnificent place like Costa Rica is just great. And maybe I can have a yoga and surfing in the process but I was not sure of that at first.
But I am forever grateful to a friend who brought me in that place and let me join the retreat he organized for this group of businessmen for he just all of a sudden thought about me. I would like to believe that there is someone up there who manipulated everything and maybe whispered my name in his ears so that I can join the group which helped me I more ways than one. And I was able to visit this wonderful place also.
